1. Treasurer’s Report: Jim J.
2. Minutes of the February 21st Conference Call. Jim J.: any additions or corrections?
3. Men’s Training Camp, April 17th – 19th in Burlington, WA. Again, special thanks to Josh and the Englunds for hosting this Camp.
4. Nationals, June 21st -26th

a. The deadline for registering your team is May 31st. This deadline is very important since it will determine which day competition begins. Late registrations will carry the following penalties: 1 week, $50; 2 weeks, $75; 3 weeks, $100.
b. All participants should plan to arrive by 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 20th because of the possibility of more teams than usual participating. Games may need to begin as early as Saturday evening.
c. On Saturday, June 20th, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Daniel Vianna will be holding a Skill Development Clinic at the Rink for all players 5 – 12 years of age. The cost will be $5 per participant. It will include the “Fundamentals” of Rink Hockey: skating, stick and ball handling, shooting, passing and receiving a pass.
d. Meetings, Saturday, June 20th

i. Hockey Committee: 2:00 p.m.
ii. Coaches and Referees Meeting: 3:00 p.m.
iii. Open Meeting, if requested: 4:00 p.m.
5. Training Camp for the Sub-20 Team will begin as soon as Nationals are over, hopefully, on Friday, June 26th and end about 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 27th. The World Team will be announced at that time.

7. Men’s “A” WC, July 4th – 11th, Vigo/Pontevedra, Spain

1. Depart for Spain on Tuesday, June 30th; depart from Spain for the U.S. on Sunday, July 12th.
2. Letter requesting World Team consideration from Chris Gibson; explanation of why he was unable to attend the Training Camp in January. Don.
8. Ladies Copa America Tournament will be in Argentina, not Colombia: Thursday, July 30th – Monday, August 3rd. Lodging and internal transportation will be provided; I think food will also be included, but I am not positive about that.
9. 2009 Sub-20/Junior WC, Saturday, September 26th – Saturday, October 3rd, in Bassano, Italy.
10. Pan American Games Qualifications for both Ladies and Men: Tentative dates are October 10 – 17th.

1. Winter issue : The Ladies’ and Men’s World Teams are to have a split cover with accompanying articles.
2. IMPORTANT: One player from each sport will be featured on the USARS web site every month. Josh Englund is featured first from our sport. The next athlete will be featured April 1st. VERY few of our World Team players have submitted “bios” to Peggy. Players who have not completed theirs need to download a blank one from the USARS web site and complete it as soon as possible and email it to BOTH Peggy and Barb (bbbrooksao@aol.com).
13. Who should be our “Athlete of the Month” for April?
14. Did everyone look at the CIRH Calendar for Tournaments through 2014 that Barb emailed on March 7th?
